The end of your wedding does not need a big production to make a good photograph. Think about how you want to leave, who you want around you and what your venue can accommodate.
A walk through your guests
Sometimes all you need is everyone cheering as you walk through together. Leave a little space, take your time and enjoy seeing the people who came to celebrate with you.
Ribbon wands or small signs
If you want something for guests to hold, ask your venue about ribbon wands or signs. Choose details that you like rather than adding something just because you have seen it in another wedding.
A last dance
You could finish with one more dance together, with your guests around you or a quiet moment after they leave. Talk through the timing with your coordinator, music provider and photographer.
A farewell at the car
If you already have transport arranged, the goodbye can happen there. You do not need a particular kind of car for the moment to matter.
Confirm the plan
Ask your venue before choosing anything guests will throw, light or release. Confirm who will coordinate the exit and handle cleanup. Share the timing with your photographer so the photographs fit within your agreed coverage.
