Worcester requires an appointment and an online marriage intention application. Both applicants must attend together in person. The city’s checklist covers proof of age, personal details and previous marriages; it specifically says state driver’s licenses and IDs are not accepted as proof of age.
Allow for the three day wait
The city states a three day waiting period after completing the intention form. The license must then be collected and is valid for 60 days from application, for use in Massachusetts. Ask the office about any timing questions before booking the ceremony.
