Florida residents: You have a choice to wait three days or attend a premarital preparation course to waive the waiting period.

Non-Florida residents: No waiting period.

No blood tests required.

Must be 18 or older to apply without parental consent.

Marriage licenses are valid for 60 days from the issue date.

Once you get your marriage license, you can schedule a time with the magistrate at the courthouse.

You do not have to get married in a courthouse. Once you get a marriage license from the Clerk’s Office, you can hire an officiant to elope at your desired location.
