Getting ready is easier when the small things are already in one place. Use this as a packing check, and keep the details that fit what you are wearing.
1. Your complete outfit
Try everything on together before the day. Check the fit, buttons and anything that needs pressing or adjusting.
2. Comfortable shoes
Bring the shoes you have planned to wear and make sure you can move comfortably in them.
3. Socks and underlayers
Pack the pieces that go underneath your outfit too. They are easy to overlook when everything else is hanging up.
4. Cufflinks, if your shirt needs them
Check your shirt beforehand and keep the pair together in a small box.
5. Tie and pocket square
If you are wearing them, set them out with your outfit. Give yourself time to tie or fold them without rushing.
6. A watch or another personal detail
Choose something meaningful if you want it included in the photographs. There is no need to buy an accessory just for a picture.
7. Rings and ceremony details
Agree on who is responsible for the rings. Keep vow books or letters somewhere you can find them.
8. A small grooming kit
Bring the products you normally use and a lint roller. Then give yourself a few minutes to get settled before the photographs begin.
